Testing antimitotics in very early stages of cell cycle development

Chromosome doubling is also one very important field of R&D. Haploid pluripotent stem cells generated by meiosis will form haploid embryos from which in a single step fully homozygous plants can be regenerated. ScreenSYS' technologies will enable to develop more efficient doubling technologies e.g. the identification of optimal treatment time and concentration of antimitotic agents and quantification of their activity in very short time frames. Long plant culture, flow cytometry and significant costs can be reduced by using this early phenotyping tool.
